Children on the Edge has worked alongside many and various wonderful schools over the years. Whether or not your school chooses to fundraise for us, teachers are free to use our educational resources, which are mainly focused on learning about children's rights.
This material not only highlights the work of Children on the Edge, but includes resources for lessons and activities that link themes of children’s rights, poverty and charity awareness into the curriculum.
Many of the schools we have teamed up with in the past have been working towards their International Schools Award with the British Council. Partnering with Children on the Edge and using these resources will help you to bolster your ISA accreditation.
If you'd like to incorporate our work into your school's curriculum or assembly programme and you'd like some advice, or a member of our team to visit, just get in touch with Eloise by e-mailing her or calling the office on 01243 538530 to discuss what might be suitable.
“The children have had huge amounts of fun but have also come to realise how children across the world do not always have safe places to live and play, clean water, the chance to go to school and often do not have the loving care of a family”.
