Montezuma’s is an award winning British chocolate company founded by ex-lawyers turned chocolate entrepreneurs, Helen and Simon Pattinson. The company aims to produce the highest quality organic and “Traded Fairly” chocolate whilst minimizing any environmental impact.

Montezuma’s has an ongoing partnership with Children on the Edge that incorporates a variety of fundraising ideas. In-store, we run the 'bags of cash scheme' where customers are asked to donate 5p for every carrier bag they use when making purchases. This has been a fantastic suyccess with over £10,000 raised in a year from five stores.  The highest single donation was £1,000 after a very kind gentleman visited the Chichester store and talked with a very passionate member of staff.

Montezuma's are also key partners in our annual easter chocolate trail taking place every easter saturday in Priory Park Chichester. now attracting over 350 children, the event id firmly fixed in the minds of Chichester's parents and children alike.

The latest initiative was the Sussex Summer Cycle where people of all ages got together for a bike ride around the glorious Sussex countryside.

Staff from Montezuma's have visited some of our projects and seen the impact their fundraising can have. Demelza visited our Child Friendly Space in Moldova and said:


"It was the most humbling experience of my life to date – a truly inspirational place where children can simply ‘be’ children,  forgetting their difficult and troubled home lives if only for a few hours a day. The staff at the centre are all remarkably selfless and are a great mentors and examples of how it is always possible to turn a bad situation around"
