Fundraise at Work

Fundraise at Work

Fundraising at work is fun and rewarding. It’s also a great way to enhance your working relationships, encourage team building and make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children around the world.

Children on the Edge relies entirely on donations like yours to fund our vital work to create safe, child friendly environments, where children are able to realise their rights.

There are lots of ways your workplace can raise money to help restore the ingredients of a full childhood to some of the worlds’ most vulnerable children.

Here’s a few ideas:

  • Organise a ‘dress down day’ and charge people £1 to join in
  • Throw a staff party or dinner with raffles and games to raise money for Children on the Edge
  • Put together a team and take on a challenge event, like a half-marathon,’ Tough Mudder’ or team cycle ride, it’s a great way to build relationships and you can get competitive over who brings in the most sponsorship!
  • Organise a bake sale at lunchtime and ask your star bakers to supply the cakes
  • Ask for a Children on the Edge collection box to put in your office, till or front desk
  • Encourage staff and colleagues to do something special for a week, like donate the cost of a daily coffee
  • You could ask colleagues to walk or cycle to work and donate the money they would have spent on petrol or public transport.
  • Have you got a special skill that you could use? Are you a talented chef who could do something for your colleagues for a donation? Could you run a class or organise an after-work activity?

Corporate Partnerships

Our work to restore the ingredients of a full childhood to vulnerable children around the world wouldn’t be possible without the extraordinary generosity of our corporate partners. Children on the Edge is supported entirely by voluntary contributions, and donations from our corporate partners makes a significant contribution to that work.

Our founder, the late Dame Anita Roddick pioneered the practice of the responsible corporate with The Body Shop International. Children on the Edge was created in that environment and today, as an independent charity, offers effective and tailored partnerships with corporates that are as individual, entrepreneurial and creative as you are.

We develop partnerships with companies across a wide range of industries, delivering clear business benefits for them, and vital funds for work across the world.

Put your company in partnership with pioneers and get in touch to discuss we can work together to create hope, life, colour and fun.
