Changemaking beauty with The Body Shop at Home

Our first inspirational conference of 2023 kickstarted the new year with our incredible partners at The Body Shop at Home. More than 1,000 people gathered in Telford, and thousands more watched online to celebrate this incredible change-making business, which has been a force for good for decades ever since the late Dame Anita Roddick founded the business.

Hundreds of Body Shop consultants have been fundraising year round to support Children on the Edge, raising an amazing £212,563 in 2022! Thank you so much for every Hemp Hand Protector you’ve sold, all the delicious cakes you’ve baked and all of the miles walked, every single pound raised makes such an incredible difference.

Every £100 raised helps provide a child with a safe space where they can live, play, learn and grow, so that’s an incredible 2,125 lives changed in 2022.

We press on into 2023 and set an ambitious question - asking Body Shop consultants to personally pledge to raise £100 for Children on the Edge in 2023.

The Body Shop has been a driving force, supporting Children on the Edge since day one. When there was an orphanage crisis in the 1990s, you responded and helped Children on the Edge to care for children in Romania and across eastern Europe.

When wars broke out in Kosovo and East Timor, The Body Shop responded to the immediate needs - building schools and creating safe places where children were protected and able to recover from trauma.

When earthquakes and tsunamis struck The Body Shop’s support helped children rebuild their lives, making sure play and fun were at the centre of everything.

And now at a time when there are more refugees globally than at any time since World War two, we are so grateful to have the support of thousands of passionate Body Shop consultants - changemakers ready to step in and help bring change to children’s lives.
