Nural can’t wait for his school to re-open.
Thank you for helping children like Nural get back to school when lockdown lifts
Nural says "I always love to go to school, but we have not been able to go during lockdown. I am looking forward to going again as I like the reading and writing, the playing and the games”.
Before lockdown, Nural and his classmates have been making videos as part of Moja Kids and he can’t wait “I want to be picked to be part of making a video soon!”
Classrooms have been closed during lockdown, but are re-opening again after Eid. For almost a year children have continued to learn in small groups outside with their teachers, but they can’t wait to be back with friends again in their colourful classrooms and school gardens.
Watch our video with Monira Begum, one of our teachers in Bangladesh, to find out about the small group lessons that have been running during lockdown and to see how the teachers are preparing for children to return to the classrooms after Eid.
Your gift this Ramadan will help children get back to school, providing safe spaces where children can thrive. Thank you.
Children on the Edge makes a difference for thousands of marginalised children living on the edge of their societies around the world. Your Zakat gift this Ramadan will be restricted to our work for Rohingya refugees. Regular gifts will be restricted for 3 months. After 3 months we will allocate funds where they are needed most.
