Run Brighton Marathon 2021
As the second largest marathon event in the UK, the Brighton Marathon is one of the biggest and best-known running events in the country.
The race is renowned for its buzzing atmosphere and roaring crowd support. Runners start out with a lap of the beautiful Preston Park and then head out to the rest of the iconic course, finishing on the Brighton Seafront. With live commentary, music, stalls and stunning scenery, Brighton Marathon 2020 is not one to be missed. We can offer five runners an opportunity to take part in the Brighton Marathon in 2021, on Sunday 18th April, as part of Team Children on the Edge. We are looking for people who can put just as much passion into their fundraising as they do their running, and commit to raise a minimum of £550 each. “There is truly nothing like it, there is such a sense of community. Because you’re running down the street, people come out of their houses to cheer you on. Some people were handing out fruit and sweets to runners, there is this incredible sense of community.” Esther Jewitt, Brighton 2018 |

Children on the Edge
Children on the Edge exists to help marginalised and forgotten children, who are living on the edge of their societies. These are children without parental care, neglected or persecuted by their governments, ignored by international media and missed by large overseas agencies. Working in partnership with local communities, we help to create safe, child friendly environments. We support children to realise their rights and we restore the ingredients of a full childhood by generating hope, life, colour and fun. £500 can provide 25 small business loans for 25 struggling families in Uganda, generating income to feed their children and keep them in school |
