We work in three areas in Uganda, partnering with
our sister organisation, Children on the Edge Africa.
EDUCATION FOR CONGOLESE REFUGEES IN KYAKA II SETTLEMENT
On the border with neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo - host to the fastest growing refugee crisis in the world - we support 30 Congolese refugee communities in Kyaka II refugee settlement. We resource them to provide early years education and care for over 9,000 of their youngest refugee children. |
TRANSFORMING SLUM COMMUNITIES IN JINJA
In Jinja, we work with six slum communities, supporting them to create protective environments for thousands of children living in endemic poverty, who are at risk of abuse, neglect and exploitation. Through voluntary Child Protection Teams, Child Rights Clubs and Early Childhood Development centres, communities are resourced to help their children thrive. |
TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES IN KARAMOJA
In Karamoja, we work with communities in the Napak district to help create protective environments for their children. Voluntary Child Protection teams are supported to transform their communities into safe spaces where children are protected from harm and are able to thrive. |
