WE'D LIKE YOU TO MEET OUR FIVE NEW STORYTELLERS IN UGANDA

Throughout 2022, our Storytellers will be showing us what’s happening in their communities. They’ll share with us the things that they love and enjoy.

They’ll be telling us about the issues that matter to them and how they are working to bring about the changes they want to see in and around Jinja, Uganda.

Meet Lydia >
Alaisa, Desire, Leila, Shafic and Lydia represent their Child Rights Clubs, Child Protection Teams and Early Learning Centres in the suburbs of Jinja, Uganda where endemic poverty puts thousands of children at risk of abuse and exploitation.

We work alongside six communities in Jinja to create protective environments for their children; transforming them into safe spaces where children are protected from harm and are able to thrive.
