Our digital programme in Bangladesh has helped transform the way Rohingya children learn in the Kutupalong refugee camp and the slums in Cox’s Bazar. Digital education content is projected in each classroom, tackling language barriers and helping to bring learning alive.
The digital programme has had such an impact in the classrooms that it has been shortlisted as one of the finalists for the education award at the AbilityNet Tech4Good awards. These awards celebrate projects where technology is helping make the world a better place.
As well as ensuring opportunities for meaningful education, the pioneering programme is also helping to give the children a voice, far beyond the confines of the camps. Using our online platform, Moja Kids, the children are able to record their own news content and share it with others.
As this is an independent campaign any pledges/donations made to the crowdfunder cannot be attributed towards Body Shop at Home regional fundraising totals.
