At the end of 2021 we asked our fantastic Children on the Edge community to send us messages of hope and solidarity that we could share with the children, communities and partners that we work alongside in Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Lebanon and Uganda. A fantastic response We were delighted by your response, and grateful to everyone who got involved and sent us a message. Messages came in from across the United Kingdom, from Scotland and Northern Ireland, to Suffolk and Cornwall, and of course, there were many messages sent in from local supporters in West Sussex. Everyone got involved. We received messages from some of our youngest supporters, our newer supporters and a couple of four-legged friends too. Sending our Messages of Hope We collated all of the wonderful messages and sent them onto our partners. They were delighted to receive them and told us that the messages were heartwarming, encouraging and they couldn’t wait to share them with the children. Take a look at our video to see a few of the messages that we were sent and the reactions from our partners.
Hope is a fundamental part of what we do and is one of our key values. Hope enables people to know that things can be different. Cultivating hope helps create a catalyst for change, and in turn, generates action within the communities where we work. This is so often where we see transformation.
Through Messages of Hope we aimed to connect the communities we work with to our supporters, and create a continued sense of hope and solidarity heading into 2022. Support usComments are closed.
