Record breaking day of fundraising with wonderful The Body Shop at Home™

Live from The Body Shop at Home™ Virtual Christmas Event

The Body Shop at Home™ Virtual Christmas Event was fantastic; with consultants raising an incredible £86,796 in just one day. 

As The Body Shop at Home goes from strength to strength, a record number of 15,000 entrepreneurial consultants took part in their first “at home” virtual conference, gathering to celebrate the launch of their Christmas 2020 product range and to raise money for Children on the Edge. 

Throughout lockdown and the challenges of social distancing consultants have risen to the challenge of raising vital funds for Children on the Edge online instead, and Saturday was no different. Consultants donated in our epic Christmas raffles, texted in donations and bought  limited edition The Body Shop at Home stickers, mugs and notebooks that each donated £1 to Children on the Edge.
 
Together, this all helped to raise the largest amount the company has ever raised in a single day. Thank you so much to everyone who gave so generously. ​

​​Our Executive Director, Ben shared news about how their support has helped families and children through lockdown in India and looked back on how this long standing partnership with The Body Shop has been changing lives for 30 years, since Children on the Edge was founded by Dame Anita Roddick in 1990. ​​

Each and every consultant is carrying on Anita’s legacy, and helping create safe spaces for vulnerable children so they can continue to learn through every crisis and beyond.’

Thank you to all those who are supporting us to continue this work, especially those who bought a raffle ticket, purchased limited edition merchandise or texted a donation this weekend. You are all record breakers and your commitment to Children on the Edge brings hope, life, colour and fun into the lives of children year in, year out.
